Consumer and commercial work - 2026 edition
These Terms & Conditions apply to all architectural vinyl wrapping and associated services supplied by Revival
Vinyl Wraps.
They are designed to provide a clear understanding of the services I provide, the responsibilities of both Revival
Vinyl Wraps and the customer, and the terms that apply before, during and after installation.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before accepting a quotation or confirming a booking. By accepting
a quotation, paying a deposit or otherwise confirming a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and
accepted these Terms & Conditions, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
Estimate
Any initial estimate provided by Revival Vinyl Wraps from photographs, measurements or information supplied by
the customer is an approximate estimate only. It is provided to give the customer an indication of the likely cost
before an on-site assessment has taken place.
Where appropriate, I recommend an on-site visit before a final quotation is confirmed. This allows me to inspect and
accurately measure the areas to be wrapped, assess the condition and suitability of the existing surfaces, show
available vinyl options and answer any questions the customer may have.
Following the on-site assessment and confirmation of the chosen vinyl and agreed scope of work, a final quotation
will be provided.
If, after work has commenced, an issue is discovered that could not reasonably have been identified during the initial
assessment, or the customer requests additional or different work, I will explain any effect this may have on the price
before carrying out the additional work.
No additional chargeable work will be undertaken without the customer's agreement.
Material Price Changes
Prices provided as part of an initial estimate may be subject to change before a final quotation and booking are
confirmed.
Once a final quotation has been accepted and the required deposit has been paid, the agreed price will not normally
change because of subsequent increases in material costs.
The price may only change where the customer requests a change to the agreed work, additional work or materials
are requested, or unforeseen circumstances are discovered that could not reasonably have been identified during
the initial assessment.
Any proposed additional costs will be discussed with the customer and agreed before the additional work is carried
out.
Contact, Appointments & Workshop Drop-Offs
Customer Appointments & Installations
Surveys, consultations and installations at customers' properties are carried out by prior appointment.
Installation dates and approximate arrival times will be agreed with the customer when the booking is confirmed.
Arrival times may occasionally be affected by traffic, travel, previous installations or other circumstances outside my
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 1reasonable control.
Workshop Drop-Off & Collection
Where agreed in advance, customers may drop off suitable items such as kitchen doors, drawer fronts or other
removable items for wrapping at my workshop.
All drop-offs and collections are strictly by prior appointment only. The workshop is not a retail premises and
customers should not attend without an agreed appointment or collection/drop-off time.
Customers are responsible for safely transporting their items to and from the workshop unless alternative
arrangements have been agreed in advance.
The condition of customer-supplied items may be inspected when they are received. Revival Vinyl Wraps is not
responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, deterioration or faults that were present before the items were
received.
Any completion or collection date provided will be an estimated date. I will make every reasonable effort to complete
the work within the agreed timeframe and will inform the customer if an unexpected delay occurs.
Customers will be contacted when their items are ready for collection.

I aim to respond to enquiries and customer messages as soon as reasonably possible during normal working days.
During particularly busy periods, responses may take longer.
Messages received during evenings, weekends or bank holidays may be answered on the next available working
day.
Availability & Booking Dates
All appointments, surveys and installation dates are subject to availability.
Any estimated lead time given before a booking is confirmed is for guidance only and may change depending on
current workload and material availability.
Once an installation date has been confirmed, I will make every reasonable effort to attend and complete the work
as arranged.
Occasionally, circumstances outside my reasonable control may require an appointment or installation date to be
changed. These may include illness, severe weather, vehicle problems, material or supplier delays, courier delays,
emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
If this happens, I will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible and arrange an alternative date.
Revival Vinyl Wraps will not be responsible for reasonable delays caused by circumstances outside my control, but
this does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
Existing Fixtures & Fittings
Kitchen components and fittings can deteriorate through age, previous installation, moisture, corrosion, wear and
tear or previous repairs. Some existing defects may not become apparent until an item is removed or dismantled as
part of the wrapping process.
I will always use reasonable care when removing and refitting existing fixtures and fittings.
Screws & Fixings
Existing screws and fixings may occasionally be seized, corroded, damaged, incorrectly fitted or weakened through
age or previous work.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 2Revival Vinyl Wraps will not be responsible for the failure or breakage of an existing screw or fixing where this
results from its pre-existing condition rather than a failure to use reasonable care.
Where replacement fixings or additional remedial work are required, I will discuss this with the customer before
carrying out any chargeable additional work.
Hinges
Existing hinges will normally be reused unless replacement has been agreed.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing worn, damaged, corroded, incorrectly adjusted or faulty
hinges, or for a hinge that subsequently fails as a result of its existing condition, age or normal wear and tear.
If I identify a faulty or unsuitable hinge during the work, I will inform the customer. Where suitable replacements are
available, I may be able to supply and fit replacement hinges for an additional agreed charge.
Handles
Existing handles will normally be carefully removed before wrapping and refitted afterwards.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing defects in handles, screws or fixings, including corrosion,
damaged threads, seized screws, weakened fittings or other deterioration that becomes apparent during reasonable
removal or refitting.
Where the customer supplies new handles, all handles and the correct screws and fittings must be available before
installation.
I reserve the right not to fit customer-supplied handles where I reasonably believe they are unsuitable, damaged,
poor quality, incompatible with the doors or likely to cause damage.
Where new handles require different fixing positions or additional alterations to the doors, any additional work and
charges will be agreed with the customer before proceeding.
Customer-Supplied Splashbacks
Where agreed in advance, I may fit a customer-supplied glass, stainless-steel or other suitable splashback as part of
the installation.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the splashback is the correct size, specification and type for its
intended location and that all necessary components supplied with it are available at the time of installation.
I will use reasonable care when handling and fitting customer-supplied items. However, Revival Vinyl Wraps is not
responsible for manufacturing defects, incorrect measurements, unsuitable products or pre-existing damage to
items supplied by the customer.
If a customer-supplied splashback cannot reasonably be fitted because it is the incorrect size, unsuitable for the
location, damaged or missing necessary components, I may be unable to install it.
Any complimentary fitting offered as part of the original vinyl installation applies to that installation visit only. A
separate return visit to fit an item that was unsuitable, unavailable or incorrectly supplied at the original appointment
may be subject to an additional charge.
Kick-Plate Clips & Fixings
Existing kick-plate/plinth clips and fixings can become brittle, damaged or weakened through age, previous removal,
moisture or normal wear and tear.
I will use reasonable care when removing and refitting kick plates. Revival Vinyl Wraps will not be responsible for an
existing clip or fixing that breaks or fails as a result of its pre-existing condition rather than a failure to use
reasonable care.
Where replacement clips, alternative fixings or additional remedial work are required, I will explain this to the
customer before carrying out any chargeable additional work.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 3Integrated Appliance Doors, Hinges & Fixings
Where kitchen doors or panels are attached to integrated appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines,
refrigerators or freezers, I will use reasonable care when removing and refitting them as part of the wrapping
process.
Integrated appliance doors, hinges, brackets, runners, sliding mechanisms and fixings can become worn, damaged,
incorrectly adjusted or weakened through age, previous installation or normal use. In some cases, an existing
problem may only become apparent once the door or panel is removed.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing faults, damage, incorrect fixing positions, appliance
alignment, appliance height, worn hinges, damaged brackets or defective sliding/fixing mechanisms that were not
caused by a failure to use reasonable care during my work.
Where reasonably possible, doors and panels will be refitted in their original positions using the existing fixing
points.
If an existing fault prevents a door or panel from being safely or correctly refitted, I will inform the customer. Any
replacement parts, appliance adjustment, specialist repair or additional work required may need to be carried out by
an appropriate appliance engineer or other qualified tradesperson.
Any additional work that I am able to undertake outside the originally agreed vinyl wrapping work will be discussed
and agreed with the customer before any additional charge is incurred.
Extractor Fans & Cooker Hoods
Where necessary and where it is reasonably safe to do so, an existing extractor fan or cooker hood may need to be
removed or loosened to provide access to an area being wrapped.
I will use reasonable care when removing and refitting an existing extractor fan, cooker hood or associated
decorative cover.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing faults, defects, deterioration, loose or unsuitable fixings,
previous incorrect installation or damage that was already present but only becomes apparent when the appliance
or cover is disturbed.
Where removal or refitting would require specialist electrical, gas, ventilation, flue or other regulated work, this must
be carried out by an appropriately qualified tradesperson. Revival Vinyl Wraps will not undertake work that I
reasonably consider to require a specialist or qualified trade.
The customer is responsible for arranging any required specialist tradesperson unless otherwise agreed in advance.
I will use reasonable care around surrounding tiles, grout, plaster, paintwork, wall coverings, lighting and fittings.
However, aged, loose, poorly adhered, damaged or previously repaired surrounding surfaces may sometimes be
affected when an existing fitting is removed.
If I identify a problem that prevents the extractor or cooker hood from being safely removed or refitted, I will inform
the customer and discuss the available options before proceeding with any additional work.
Sinks & Taps
Where agreed in advance, I may be able to remove and/or fit a replacement sink or tap as additional work alongside
a vinyl wrapping installation. Any charge for this service will be agreed separately.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, the customer is responsible for purchasing and supplying the new sink, tap
and all necessary fittings, wastes, connectors and other components required for installation.
Replacement sinks should wherever possible be the same size and suitable for the existing worktop opening. If the
new sink requires the worktop opening to be enlarged, altered or otherwise modified, this must be discussed before
installation and may incur an additional charge.
I will use reasonable care when removing and fitting sinks and taps. Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for
pre-existing plumbing faults, damaged or corroded pipework, defective isolation valves, existing leaks, unsuitable
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 4connections or other defects that were not caused by my work.
Where a sink, tap or component has been supplied by the customer, any manufacturing defect, product fault or
manufacturer's warranty remains the responsibility of the customer and the relevant retailer or manufacturer.
If, during removal or installation, I discover that additional plumbing work, replacement parts or specialist work are
required, I will inform the customer before proceeding.
Where the required work is outside the work I am able or prepared to undertake, the customer will be responsible for
arranging an appropriately qualified tradesperson.
Any concern relating specifically to work carried out by Revival Vinyl Wraps should be reported to me as soon as
reasonably possible so that I have an opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, rectify the issue.
Plugs, Sockets & Switches
Where required to complete the vinyl wrapping installation, I may carefully loosen or remove socket and switch
faceplates where this can be done safely without altering, extending or interfering with the fixed electrical wiring.
I will use reasonable care when removing and refitting existing faceplates. Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for
pre-existing faults or deterioration, including damaged or brittle faceplates, worn screws, damaged fixing lugs, loose
back boxes, defective fittings, damaged surrounding tiles, grout, plaster or wall coverings, where these issues were
not caused by a failure to use reasonable care.
Where a socket or switch has been grouted, tiled, sealed or otherwise fixed in a way that makes safe removal
difficult, I will discuss this with the customer before proceeding.
Revival Vinyl Wraps does not undertake electrical installation, alteration, repair or extension of fixed electrical wiring.
If existing cables, sockets, switches, back boxes or other electrical components prevent the wrapping work from
being completed safely, the customer will be responsible for arranging a competent electrician to carry out any
necessary electrical work.
Where electrical work is required before the vinyl installation can continue, this may delay completion of the project
or require a further visit. Any additional visit or work required by Revival Vinyl Wraps as a result will be discussed
with the customer and may incur an additional charge.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing electrical faults or for electrical work carried out by the
customer or any third-party tradesperson.
Additional Joinery Work
Where agreed in advance, I may undertake minor joinery or alteration work associated with the vinyl wrapping
installation, such as boxing-in, trimming or adjusting suitable kitchen components.
Any joinery or alteration work that is not included within the original quotation will be discussed with the customer
and any additional charge agreed before the work is carried out.
I will use reasonable care when carrying out any agreed additional work.
If I discover that an item or surrounding structure is damaged, rotten, insecure, unsuitable or requires specialist
repair beyond the agreed work, I will inform the customer before proceeding where reasonably possible.
Where specialist building, electrical, plumbing, gas, plastering or other trade work is required, the customer will be
responsible for arranging an appropriate tradesperson unless otherwise agreed.
Removal of Existing Items
Where existing shelving, trims, corner units, worktops, panels or other fixtures need to be removed to carry out the
agreed work, I will use reasonable care during removal and refitting.
Some defects or damage may be hidden behind or underneath existing fixtures and may only become apparent
once an item is removed.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 5Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing or concealed damage, deterioration, poor previous
workmanship, unsuitable fixings, loose surfaces, moisture damage or other defects that were not caused by my
work.
If an unexpected issue is discovered that affects the agreed installation, I will explain the issue to the customer and
discuss the available options before carrying out any additional chargeable work.
Kickplates / Plinths
Unless specifically included within the agreed quotation, Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for altering, cutting
or modifying existing kickplates/plinths.
Existing kickplates will normally be removed and refitted where required as part of the wrapping installation, and I
will use reasonable care when doing so.
Where new flooring, underlay, tiles or other floor coverings have been installed, the available height beneath the
kitchen units may have changed. If an existing kickplate no longer fits because of changes to the floor level,
alteration or replacement of the kickplate is not included within the vinyl wrapping work unless specifically agreed.
Existing kickplates may also be bowed, swollen, water damaged, chipped, previously altered or otherwise unsuitable
for wrapping or refitting. If I identify an issue, I will inform the customer and discuss the available options.
Where I am able to undertake additional cutting, alteration, repair or replacement work, this will be subject to
suitability, available time and an additional charge agreed with the customer before the work is carried out.
Where additional joinery or specialist work is required that I am unable or unwilling to undertake, the customer will
be responsible for arranging an appropriate tradesperson.
If kickplates have been removed before my arrival, the customer is responsible for ensuring they are available,
suitable and correctly sized for the kitchen before the wrapping installation begins.
Customer-Supplied Appliances, Fixtures & Equipment
Unless specifically stated in the quotation, Revival Vinyl Wraps does not supply appliances, sinks, taps, lighting or
other household equipment as part of the vinyl wrapping service.
Where a customer supplies an appliance, sink, tap, fitting or other item for installation, the customer is responsible
for ensuring that the item is suitable, the correct size and specification, and that all necessary parts and fittings are
available.
Where agreed in advance, I may occasionally collect an item on behalf of a customer. Any purchase price or other
agreed costs paid by Revival Vinyl Wraps on the customer's behalf must be reimbursed by the customer.
Where an item is purchased specifically at the customer's request, the relevant receipt or proof of purchase will be
provided where applicable.
I will use reasonable care when handling any customer-supplied equipment. However, Revival Vinyl Wraps is not
responsible for manufacturing defects, product faults, incorrect specifications or warranty issues relating to
equipment that I have not manufactured.
Any manufacturer's or retailer's product warranty remains subject to their own terms and conditions.
Installation of any customer-supplied equipment is not included unless specifically agreed. Where I agree to
undertake installation work that falls within the type of work I am able and prepared to carry out, any additional
charge will be agreed with the customer.
Any electrical, gas, specialist plumbing or other regulated work must be carried out by an appropriately qualified
tradesperson.
Existing Electrical Work & Lighting
Existing electrical fittings, cables, sockets, switches, fuse boxes and lighting may affect access to areas included
within the vinyl wrapping installation.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 6Revival Vinyl Wraps does not undertake electrical installation, alteration or repair work. I will not disconnect, extend,
modify or interfere with fixed electrical wiring where specialist electrical work is required.
If an existing electrical fitting prevents an area from being safely or properly wrapped, I will explain the issue to the
customer. The customer may be required to arrange for a competent electrician to carry out the necessary work
before the vinyl installation can continue.
Kickplate / Plinth Lighting
Where lights, cables or electrical fittings are installed in or attached to kickplates/plinths that are due to be wrapped,
these should normally be disconnected and removed by a competent person before my arrival where electrical
disconnection is required.
If the lights or associated fittings have not been removed and this prevents the kickplates from being safely
wrapped, the affected kickplates may need to be left unwrapped until the electrical fittings have been appropriately
removed.
Where agreed, the customer may arrange to return the kickplates to me at a later date for wrapping once the
electrical fittings have been removed. Any additional workshop visit, wrapping appointment or collection
arrangement may be subject to an additional charge.
Refitting or reconnecting electrical lighting, wiring or other electrical components is the customer's responsibility and
should be undertaken by a competent person where appropriate.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing electrical faults, defective lighting, damaged wiring or
electrical work carried out by the customer or a third-party tradesperson.
If an unforeseen electrical issue affects the installation, I will discuss the available options with the customer before
continuing with the affected area.
Worktops & Upstands
The quality, appearance and longevity of a vinyl-wrapped worktop or upstand depends significantly on the condition
and stability of the existing surface underneath.
Before installation, existing worktops and upstands should be structurally sound, dry, secure and reasonably
smooth.
Existing Damage & Surface Condition
Existing defects such as chips, dents, scratches, burns, swelling, blown laminate, loose edging, damaged joints,
previous repairs, water damage or uneven surfaces may remain visible or affect the finished vinyl if they are not
properly repaired before wrapping.
Vinyl follows the profile of the surface underneath and should not be regarded as a structural repair for a damaged
or deteriorating worktop.
Where I identify a defect that may affect the finished result or suitability of the surface for wrapping, I will discuss this
with the customer before proceeding where reasonably possible.
Where suitable, I may be able to undertake minor preparation or repair work. Any significant additional preparation
or repair work that was not included within the original quotation may incur an additional charge, which will be
agreed with the customer before the additional work is carried out.
Water & Moisture Damage
Worktops, particularly around sinks, taps, joints and exposed edges, can suffer from moisture ingress and swelling.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for existing or concealed moisture damage, swelling or deterioration of the
underlying worktop that was not caused by my installation.
Vinyl wrapping does not repair structural water damage or prevent deterioration of an already damaged substrate.
Silicone & Sealant
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 7Existing silicone or sealant in areas being wrapped may need to be removed before installation to allow the vinyl to
be applied and finished correctly.
New finishing silicone may be applied where appropriate as part of the agreed installation.
The customer should follow the aftercare instructions provided and avoid disturbing newly applied sealant until it has
adequately cured.
Joints, Edges & Existing Construction
Existing worktop joints, joining strips, edges, corners and other construction details may remain visible beneath or
through the vinyl.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for movement, separation, swelling or failure of an existing worktop joint,
substrate or structure that occurs because of its pre-existing condition, moisture ingress, structural movement or
deterioration rather than a failure to use reasonable care during my installation.
Heat, Steam & Aftercare
Architectural vinyl is durable but must be treated appropriately after installation.
Hot pans, oven trays, heated appliances or other very hot items must not be placed directly onto a vinyl-wrapped
worktop. Suitable heat-resistant mats or trivets should be used.
Excessive or prolonged heat and steam should not be directed at wrapped edges, joints or other vulnerable areas.
Standing water and spills should be wiped away promptly, particularly around sinks, taps, joints and edges.
Damage caused after installation by excessive heat, steam, standing water, sharp objects, impacts, harsh or
abrasive cleaning products, misuse or failure to follow the supplied aftercare guidance is not covered by the
installation warranty.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights or excludes responsibility where loss or damage is
caused by a failure by Revival Vinyl Wraps to exercise reasonable care and skill.
Handle Changes & Relocation
Different Handle Positions
Where existing handles are being replaced, I recommend choosing new handles with the same fixing-hole centres
wherever possible. This allows the existing fixing holes to be reused and normally produces the cleanest result.
If the customer chooses handles with different fixing centres or requests that the handles are moved to a different
position, the original fixing holes will need to be properly filled, sanded and prepared before the doors are wrapped.
Vinyl follows the surface underneath. Poorly filled holes, dents, raised filler, scratches, indentations or other
imperfections may remain visible through the finished vinyl.
Where the customer has chosen to prepare or fill the existing holes themselves, the customer is responsible for
ensuring that the surface is smooth, sound and suitable for wrapping before installation.
If further preparation is required when I arrive, I will explain this to the customer. Where I am able to undertake the
additional preparation, an additional charge may apply and will be agreed before the additional work is carried out.
New Handle Holes
Where agreed as part of the work, I may drill new fixing holes and fit replacement handles after the doors have been
wrapped.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that customer-supplied handles are suitable for the doors and that all
required handles, screws and fittings are available.
The position of new handles should be agreed before drilling takes place. Once new fixing holes have been drilled,
their position cannot normally be changed without further repair work and possible re-wrapping.
I will use reasonable care when measuring, drilling and fitting new handles.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 8Surface Finish
The final appearance of the vinyl depends on the condition and preparation of the underlying surface.
Revival Vinyl Wraps cannot guarantee that existing damage, poorly completed repairs, filled holes or surface
imperfections will become completely invisible simply by applying vinyl over them.
Colour, Pattern & Batch Matching
Vinyl colours, textures and patterns may appear slightly different under different lighting conditions and when viewed
on photographs, mobile phones, tablets, computer screens or printed catalogues.
For this reason, colours displayed digitally or in photographs should be treated as a guide only. Where colour is
particularly important, I recommend that the customer views the available physical vinyl sample before making their
final choice.
Batch Variation
Architectural vinyl is manufactured in batches. Slight variations in colour, shade, texture or pattern may occur
between different production batches.
Where a complete kitchen or project is wrapped at the same time, I will wherever reasonably possible use material
from the same batch.
If additional vinyl is required at a later date for repairs, alterations, additional doors or extensions to the original
project, an exact match to the previously installed vinyl cannot be guaranteed.
Partial Kitchen Wrapping
Where only part of an existing kitchen, item or previously wrapped surface is being wrapped, Revival Vinyl Wraps
cannot guarantee an exact colour, shade, texture or pattern match with the existing finish.
I will make reasonable efforts to achieve the closest suitable match where matching has been requested.
Customer Approval
The final choice of vinyl colour, pattern and finish is the customer's responsibility.
The customer should satisfy themselves that they are happy with their chosen vinyl before material is ordered and
installation begins.
Once vinyl has been specially ordered for an accepted project, changing the chosen vinyl may result in additional
material costs and/or a change to the installation date.
Finish & Existing Surface Condition
Architectural vinyl is applied directly over the existing surface. The quality and appearance of the finished installation
therefore depends significantly on the condition, stability and preparation of the surface underneath.
Vinyl does not hide all existing imperfections. Dents, scratches, chips, damaged edges, filled holes, uneven
surfaces, swelling, previous repairs, loose coatings, poor previous workmanship or other defects may remain visible
through or affect the finished wrap.
Existing Surface Condition
I will use reasonable care when assessing and preparing surfaces before wrapping. However, some defects may not
become apparent until doors, fittings or existing coverings are removed or preparation work begins.
Where I identify an issue that I reasonably believe may affect the quality or longevity of the installation, I will inform
the customer and discuss the available options.
Any significant repair or preparation work outside the agreed quotation may incur an additional charge. This will be
discussed and agreed with the customer before additional chargeable work is carried out.
Working Environment
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 9The area being wrapped should be clean, dry and reasonably free from dust, grease, cooking residue, pet hair and
other contamination before installation begins.
Recent building, plastering, sanding, decorating, flooring or other renovation work can create airborne dust and
contamination that may affect the vinyl installation.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that other work likely to create excessive dust or contamination is
completed and the area adequately cleaned before the agreed installation date.
Existing & Concealed Defects
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing or concealed defects, deterioration or contamination that was
not caused by my work.
This may include loose or failing coatings, moisture damage, swelling, damaged laminate, weak substrates,
previous repairs, adhesive residue or other conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before work
commenced.
If a surface is found to be unsuitable for wrapping, I may need to stop work on the affected area until the issue has
been resolved.
Any resulting change to the work, additional preparation or return visit will be discussed with the customer before
additional charges are incurred.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights or excludes responsibility for work that has not been
carried out with reasonable care and skill.
Silicone & Finishing Sealant
Where appropriate, finishing silicone or sealant may be applied around sinks, worktops, upstands, splashbacks or
other suitable areas as part of the completed installation.
The colour of the finishing sealant should be agreed before installation where the customer has a specific
preference. If no particular colour has been requested, I will use a suitable colour that I consider appropriate for the
surrounding finish.
Curing Time
Fresh silicone or sealant must be allowed sufficient time to cure before it is touched, cleaned or exposed to water.
As a general guide, customers should avoid disturbing newly sealed areas for at least 6-8 hours and should follow
any additional advice given at the end of the installation.
Maintenance
Silicone and other flexible sealants are maintenance items and can deteriorate over time through cleaning,
movement, moisture, heat and normal use.
Customers should regularly inspect sealed areas and arrange replacement when signs of deterioration, mould,
lifting, cracking or separation appear.
As a general maintenance guide, I recommend that silicone around frequently used wet areas is inspected regularly
and replaced when necessary.
Cleaning
Extra care should be taken when cleaning silicone-sealed areas.
A soft cloth or sponge should be used with suitable non-abrasive cleaning products. Excessive scrubbing, abrasive
cleaners, sharp objects or aggressive chemicals can damage or lift silicone and sealant.
Damage or deterioration caused by improper cleaning, neglect, misuse or failure to maintain the sealant is not
covered by the installation warranty.
Silicone Warranty
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 10Where finishing silicone has been applied by Revival Vinyl Wraps, I provide a 3-month workmanship warranty on
that silicone application.
This warranty covers defects arising from the original application itself. It does not cover normal wear and tear,
movement in the underlying surfaces, mould, staining, customer damage, aggressive cleaning products, excessive
scrubbing or deterioration caused by water, heat or other external factors.
Silicone and sealant are maintenance items and future replacement after the warranty period is the customer's
responsibility.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights.
Pre-Installation - Decorating & Renovation Work
Where possible, all building, decorating and renovation work affecting the installation area should be completed
before the agreed vinyl wrapping date.
This includes plastering, sanding, painting, tiling, flooring, electrical work, plumbing, joinery and any other work that
may create dust, debris, moisture or interfere with the areas being wrapped.
The installation area should be clean, dry and reasonably free from dust and other contamination before I arrive.
Where other trades are scheduled to work at the property after the vinyl installation, the customer is responsible for
making those trades aware that newly wrapped surfaces must be appropriately protected.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for damage to completed vinyl wrapping caused after installation by the
customer, other tradespeople, subsequent building or decorating work, moving appliances, tools or other activities
outside my control.
If ongoing or recently completed renovation work means that the environment is not reasonably suitable for vinyl
installation, I may recommend postponing the affected work until suitable conditions can be provided.
Any resulting change to the installation arrangements will be discussed with the customer.
Cleaning & Customer Preparation
Proper preparation of the kitchen or working area is essential to achieving a high-quality and long-lasting vinyl
installation.
Before My Arrival
Before the agreed installation date, the customer must ensure that all areas being wrapped are reasonably clean
and accessible.
Surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased to remove cooking grease, food residue, dust, dirt, polish,
cleaning-product residue and other contamination.
Particular attention should be given to areas around handles, cupboard edges, cooking areas, extractors and other
places where grease commonly accumulates.
Worktops and other working areas should be cleared of appliances, ornaments, food and personal belongings.
Where access to hinges, fixings or internal fittings is required, relevant cupboards and drawers should be sufficiently
emptied to allow safe and unrestricted access.
Additional Preparation
Normal final surface preparation required as part of a professional vinyl installation is included within the agreed
work.
However, extensive cleaning, degreasing, removal of excessive contamination or other substantial preparation
resulting from the area not being reasonably prepared before my arrival is not included unless specifically agreed.
Where substantial additional preparation is required, an additional preparation charge may apply, normally starting
from £180 depending on the amount of additional work required.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 11Where reasonably possible, I will explain the additional work and charge to the customer before carrying it out.
Installation Delays
If the property or surfaces have not been adequately prepared and the additional preparation cannot reasonably be
completed within the allocated installation time, I may need to postpone all or part of the installation.
Where a further visit is required because the agreed preparation requirements were not completed, reasonable
additional costs associated with the return visit may be charged. These will be discussed with the customer.
Customer Concerns
If the customer is unsure whether an existing surface is sufficiently clean, prepared or suitable for wrapping, this
should be raised with me before the installation date so that I can advise accordingly.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights.
Access & Working Area
The customer must provide safe and reasonably unrestricted access to all areas included within the agreed
installation.
Before my arrival, worktops, floors and other areas where I need to work should be cleared of unnecessary items
and personal belongings.
Where access to hinges, fixings or internal fittings is required, cupboards and drawers should be sufficiently emptied
to allow the relevant doors, drawers or components to be safely removed and refitted.
Glass shelves and other removable or fragile items should be removed by the customer before installation where
reasonably possible.
Where glass-fronted or display cupboards are being worked on, the contents should be removed before my arrival.
The customer should ensure that I have sufficient safe working space around the installation area and reasonable
access to entrances and exits.
Children, pets and other persons should be kept away from the immediate working area while tools, materials or
removed kitchen components are being used or stored.
Reasonable lighting and access to electricity should be available where required to carry out the installation.
If an area cannot be safely accessed or worked on because it has not been adequately cleared, I may be unable to
complete that part of the installation until suitable access is provided.
Where this results in significant additional work or a further visit being required, any reasonable additional charge
will be discussed with the customer before the additional work is undertaken.
Estimated Completion Times & Delays
Any installation duration or estimated completion time provided by Revival Vinyl Wraps is given in good faith based
on the information available and the anticipated amount of work required.
I will make every reasonable effort to complete the project within the estimated timeframe. However, installation
times can occasionally change because of circumstances that could not reasonably have been anticipated before
work commenced.
These may include previously hidden defects, additional preparation requirements, unsuitable existing surfaces,
customer-requested changes, unexpected repairs, material or supplier delays, severe weather, illness or other
circumstances outside my reasonable control.
If I become aware that the project is likely to take materially longer than originally anticipated, I will inform the
customer as soon as reasonably possible.
Where additional time is required solely to complete the originally agreed work to the appropriate standard, no
additional labour charge will be made simply because my original estimate of the installation duration was shorter.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 12Where additional time or cost results from customer-requested changes, additional work or an unforeseen issue
requiring work outside the original quotation, any additional charge will be explained and agreed before that
additional chargeable work is carried out.
Customers should inform me before installation of any known access restrictions, appointments, other trades,
building work or circumstances that could affect the agreed installation.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights.
During Installation
Arrival & Working Hours
An approximate arrival time will normally be agreed with the customer before installation.
Arrival times may occasionally be affected by traffic, travel, previous work, supplier or delivery issues and other
circumstances outside my reasonable control.
I will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer if I become aware of a significant delay.
My normal installation working hours are approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, although these may
vary depending on the individual project and arrangements agreed with the customer.
Where appropriate and with the customer's agreement, I may continue working outside these hours in order to
complete or progress an installation.
Property Access
The customer must ensure that agreed access to the property and all relevant working areas is available for the
duration of the installation.
The customer does not need to remain at the property throughout the entire installation unless this has specifically
been agreed. However, the customer or another authorised adult should remain reasonably contactable in case a
decision, approval or unexpected issue needs to be discussed.
Where the customer leaves me with access to the property while they are absent, this will be treated as permission
for me to remain at the property for the purpose of carrying out the agreed work.
Working Area
For safety and to allow the installation to proceed efficiently, customers, visitors, children and pets should remain
outside the immediate working area while work is taking place.
Tools, knives, heat equipment, vinyl, removed doors and other materials may be present during installation and
should not be handled or moved by anyone other than me.
Where practical, the kitchen or immediate installation area should not be used while work is actively taking place.
Decisions During Installation
If an unforeseen issue is discovered that requires the customer's decision, I will make reasonable efforts to contact
the customer before proceeding with the affected work.
Where I cannot contact the customer and proceeding could result in additional cost or a material change to the
agreed work, I may pause that part of the installation until approval can be obtained.
Existing Decoration & Surrounding Surfaces
Vinyl wrapping work may require the removal or loosening of doors, trims, handles, panels, sealant and other fittings
close to existing decorated or finished surfaces.
I will use reasonable care to protect surrounding areas while carrying out the agreed work.
Existing Paint, Wallpaper & Plaster
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 13Existing paint, wallpaper, plaster and other wall coverings can sometimes be poorly adhered, aged, damaged,
previously repaired or weakened.
Where an existing surface is loose, fragile or poorly adhered, normal and careful removal of an adjacent fitting, trim,
sealant or other component may cause the existing finish to lift, crack or separate.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for deterioration or damage resulting from a pre-existing defective, loose or
poorly adhered surface where reasonable care has been used.
Tiles, Grout & Silicone
Existing tiles, grout and silicone may also be aged, cracked, loose or previously damaged.
Where existing silicone or sealant needs to be removed to complete the vinyl installation, I will use reasonable care
during removal.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for the failure of existing tiles, grout, sealant or other surrounding materials
where this results from their pre-existing condition rather than a failure to use reasonable care.
Flooring & Other Finished Surfaces
I will take reasonable precautions when working around existing flooring and other finished surfaces.
The customer should inform me before work begins of any particularly delicate, recently installed or known defective
surfaces that may require additional precautions.
If I identify an existing surface that I believe may be at particular risk of damage, I will discuss this with the customer
before proceeding where reasonably possible.
Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for damage caused by a failure by Revival Vinyl Wraps to exercise
reasonable care and skill.
Appliances & Access Behind Appliances
Existing appliances may restrict access to areas included within the vinyl wrapping installation.
This may include washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, tumble dryers, ovens, microwaves, wine
coolers and other freestanding or integrated appliances.
Moving Appliances
Unless specifically agreed in advance, removal, disconnection and refitting of appliances is not included within the
vinyl wrapping quotation.
Where a freestanding appliance can be safely moved a short distance without disconnecting plumbing, gas, fixed
electrical wiring or other specialist connections, I may, at my discretion, move it sufficiently to gain access to the
area being wrapped.
I am not obliged to move an appliance that I reasonably consider too heavy, unsafe, unstable, difficult to access or
likely to cause damage to the appliance, flooring, surrounding units or property.
Where specialist disconnection or removal is required, the customer is responsible for arranging an appropriately
qualified or competent tradesperson before the installation date.
Integrated Appliances
Integrated appliances can have doors, panels, hinges, runners, brackets and fixing systems attached to them.
Where removal of a decorative kitchen door or panel is reasonably required for wrapping, I will use reasonable care
when removing and refitting it.
Any specialist appliance removal, adjustment, repair, electrical work, plumbing or disconnection remains outside the
vinyl wrapping service unless specifically agreed.
Existing Faults & Damage
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 14Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing faults, damage, leaks, worn components, defective hinges,
damaged fixings, incorrect previous installation or other appliance defects that were not caused by my work.
If an existing problem becomes apparent when an appliance, door or panel is moved or disturbed, I will inform the
customer where reasonably possible.
Restricted Access
If an appliance has not been removed or made accessible where this was required and agreed before installation, I
may only be able to wrap the areas that can be reasonably and safely accessed.
Where the customer subsequently requests a return visit to complete an area that could not originally be accessed
because the required preparation or appliance removal had not been carried out, an additional charge may apply.
Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for damage caused by a failure by Revival Vinyl Wraps to exercise
reasonable care and skill.
Deposits & Booking Confirmation
A 30% deposit of the agreed quotation price is required to confirm the customer's booking and installation date
unless otherwise agreed in writing.
An installation date may be offered provisionally, but the booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has
been received.
Until the deposit has been received, Revival Vinyl Wraps reserves the right to offer the proposed installation date to
another customer.
Once the deposit has been received, I may order vinyl and other materials specifically required for the customer's
project.
The deposit forms part of the total agreed price and will be deducted from the final balance.
The customer's statutory cancellation rights are not affected by payment of a deposit.
Where a customer cancels after materials have been ordered or other costs have reasonably been incurred
specifically for their project, the treatment of the deposit and any refund due will be determined in accordance with
the Cancellation section of these Terms & Conditions and the customer's statutory rights.
Final Balance & Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the agreed
work.
Any additional work, materials or alterations requested by the customer during the project and agreed as an
additional charge will be added to the final balance.
Payment may be made by bank transfer, cash, or any other payment method specifically agreed in advance.
An invoice or receipt will be provided as appropriate.
Inspection on Completion
On completion, the customer will be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work and raise any concerns.
If a minor snag or defect is identified that can reasonably be rectified, I should be given a reasonable opportunity to
inspect and, where appropriate, rectify it.
The existence of a minor snag does not automatically make the whole outstanding balance non-payable. Any
amount reasonably withheld should be proportionate to the issue concerned and does not affect payment of any
undisputed amount.
Repairs & Rectification
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 15If a concern relating to my workmanship becomes apparent after completion, the customer should contact Revival
Vinyl Wraps as soon as reasonably possible and provide reasonable details and, where appropriate, photographs of
the issue.
I must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the reported issue and, where I am responsible, put the work
right within a reasonable time and without causing significant inconvenience to the customer.
The customer should not arrange unnecessary third-party remedial work at my expense without first giving me a
reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify the issue, except where urgent action is reasonably necessary to
prevent further damage or address a safety issue.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes the customer's statutory rights.
Changes to the Agreed Project
The quotation and booking are based on the agreed scope of work, measurements, surfaces to be wrapped and the
customer's chosen vinyl.
Customers should therefore make any requested changes as early as possible and preferably before the deposit is
paid and materials are ordered.
Changes Before Materials Are Ordered
Where the customer requests a change before materials have been ordered, I will make reasonable efforts to
accommodate the request.
Any change that affects the amount or type of material required, the amount of labour involved or the installation
time may result in a revised quotation.
Changes After Materials Have Been Ordered
Once vinyl or other materials have been ordered specifically for the customer's project, it may not be possible to
change the chosen colour, pattern, finish or specification without additional cost.
If the customer requests a change after materials have been ordered, I will explain any additional material costs,
supplier charges and any effect on the installation date before the change is confirmed.
Additional Work
If the customer asks for additional doors, panels, worktops, furniture or other items to be wrapped that were not
included within the original quotation, I will advise whether the additional work can reasonably be accommodated.
Any additional price will be agreed before the additional work is carried out.
Additional work requested during an installation may also require a further visit or a change to the anticipated
completion date.
Reductions to the Agreed Work
If the customer asks to remove items from the agreed scope after the booking has been confirmed, any reduction in
the final price will depend on the stage the project has reached and whether materials or other costs have already
been reasonably incurred for those items.
I will explain any resulting adjustment to the customer.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory cancellation rights.
Rescheduling & Changes to Installation Dates
I understand that circumstances can change and customers may occasionally need to move an agreed installation
date.
Where possible, customers should give as much notice as reasonably possible if they need to reschedule.
First Reschedule
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 16Where a customer needs to change their installation date for a genuine reason, I will normally allow one reasonable
reschedule without an administration charge, subject to availability.
The replacement installation date will be based on my next suitable availability and cannot necessarily be
guaranteed within the same week or month as the original booking.
Further or Late Rescheduling
If a customer requests further changes after already rescheduling once, or requests a change at short notice, a
reasonable rescheduling charge may apply where I have incurred costs or am unable to reasonably refill the
reserved installation time.
Any charge will reflect the circumstances and reasonable losses or additional costs resulting from the change rather
than being imposed as a penalty.
Where materials have already been ordered specifically for the project, these will normally continue to be held for
the rearranged installation, subject to their suitability and storage life.
Rescheduling by Revival Vinyl Wraps
Occasionally I may need to rearrange an installation because of illness, emergency, severe weather, supplier or
courier problems, vehicle breakdown or another circumstance outside my reasonable control.
If this happens, I will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative installation date.
The customer will not be charged a rescheduling fee where the change has been made by Revival Vinyl Wraps.
Earlier Installation Dates
If an earlier installation date becomes available, I may offer it to the customer.
The customer is under no obligation to accept an earlier date and declining it will not affect their existing confirmed
booking.
Cancellation Rights & Customer Cancellations
Statutory Cancellation Rights
Where a contract is entered into at the customer's home or entirely by telephone, email, WhatsApp or other distance
communication, the customer may have a statutory right to cancel the contract within 14 days, in accordance with
applicable consumer law.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, the cancellation period will normally begin on the day after the contract
is entered into.
The customer may notify Revival Vinyl Wraps of their decision to cancel by a clear statement, including by email,
WhatsApp or other written communication.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or restricts any statutory cancellation right available to the customer.
Starting Work During the Cancellation Period
If the customer specifically asks me to begin providing services during an applicable 14-day cancellation period, I
may ask the customer to confirm this request in writing.
If the customer subsequently exercises a statutory right to cancel after work has begun at their express request,
they may be required to pay a reasonable amount for services properly supplied up to the time cancellation is
communicated, where permitted by law.
Bespoke & Customer-Specific Materials
Some vinyl, replacement doors or other materials may be ordered, cut, manufactured or prepared specifically for an
individual customer's project.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 17Where the law provides that a statutory cancellation right does not apply to particular goods because they have
been made to the customer's specifications or are clearly personalised, this will be explained where relevant.
This does not remove any cancellation rights that continue to apply to other elements of the contract.
Cancellation After the Statutory Cancellation Period
If the customer wishes to cancel after any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, they should notify me
as soon as reasonably possible.
Any amount retained from the deposit will reflect the reasonable losses and costs actually resulting from the
cancellation.
Reasonable cancellation losses may include
• vinyl or other materials specifically ordered for the project which cannot reasonably be returned or reused;
• bespoke items manufactured, cut or prepared specifically for the customer;
• supplier cancellation or restocking charges;
• work already reasonably undertaken for the project; and
• reasonable losses resulting from installation time reserved for the customer which I am unable to reasonably refill.
Cancellation - Additional Terms
I will take reasonable steps to minimise any losses resulting from a cancellation.
Where the deposit received exceeds my reasonable cancellation losses and costs, the appropriate remaining
balance will be refunded to the customer.
Where my reasonable losses exceed the amount of the deposit, I reserve the right, where legally permitted, to seek
payment of the reasonable outstanding amount.
Cancellation by Revival Vinyl Wraps
I may cancel or suspend a booking where I have a reasonable and genuine reason to do so. This may include
unsafe working conditions, abusive or threatening behaviour, failure to provide agreed access, non-payment, the
discovery of conditions that make the proposed work unsuitable or unsafe, inability to obtain the agreed material,
serious illness or other circumstances that prevent me from reasonably carrying out the contract.
Where I cancel for reasons that are not caused by a breach of contract by the customer, any money paid for work or
materials that have not been supplied will be refunded as required by law.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights.
Commercial Work
Where Revival Vinyl Wraps undertakes work for a business, landlord, property company or other commercial
customer, the quotation will clearly state the agreed price and scope of work.
Any specific commercial requirements, access restrictions, working hours, site rules, permits or other requirements
that may affect the installation should be disclosed before the quotation is accepted.
Where additional requirements are introduced after the quotation has been accepted and these result in additional
work or reasonable additional costs, I will discuss any resulting price adjustment with the customer before the
additional chargeable work is undertaken.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in the quotation, prices are the total price payable to Revival Vinyl Wraps for the
agreed work.
Where VAT is not charged by Revival Vinyl Wraps, no VAT will be added to the quoted price.
Waste & Disposal
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 18Unless specifically included within the quotation, removal and disposal of waste from the customer's property is not
included within the standard vinyl wrapping service.
Waste arising from the installation may include vinyl backing paper, vinyl offcuts, removed existing vinyl, packaging
and other materials associated with the work.
Where existing doors, worktops, panels, fittings or other items are replaced, disposal of the removed items is also
the customer's responsibility unless disposal has specifically been agreed as part of the quotation.
I will leave installation waste reasonably gathered together and the working area reasonably tidy on completion.
Where agreed in advance and where I am able to provide the service, I may arrange removal of appropriate
installation waste for an additional charge.
Any waste-removal charge will be confirmed with the customer before the service is provided.
Revival Vinyl Wraps will only remove and dispose of waste where it can be done lawfully and appropriately.
Aftercare & Maintenance
General Cleaning
Wrapped surfaces should normally be cleaned using a soft damp microfibre cloth or soft sponge together with a
suitable mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
Do not use abrasive pads, scouring products, harsh chemicals, solvents, bleach, sharp cleaning tools or other
products that could scratch, soften, stain or damage the vinyl.
Any cloth or sponge used should be clean and free from grit or other particles that could scratch the surface.
Edges, Joins & Corners
Extra care should be taken when cleaning around vinyl edges, corners, joins, overlaps, folds and other finishing
points.
These areas should not be aggressively scrubbed, picked, scraped or subjected to excessive pressure.
If an edge or join is accidentally damaged or begins to lift, the customer should contact me rather than attempting to
glue, cut or repair the vinyl themselves.
Spills & Staining
Food, drink and other spills should be wiped away as soon as reasonably possible.
Strongly coloured substances such as curry, turmeric, tomato-based sauces and similar products can cause staining
if left on the surface for prolonged periods.
Any staining or damage caused by spills being left untreated, inappropriate cleaning products or customer misuse is
not covered by the workmanship warranty.
Heat, Steam & Water
Vinyl-wrapped surfaces should be protected from excessive or prolonged heat and steam.
Hot pans, baking trays and other very hot items should not be placed directly onto wrapped worktops. Suitable
heat-resistant mats or trivets should be used.
Standing water should not be allowed to remain around sinks, joints, edges or other vulnerable areas and should be
wiped away promptly.
Customer Damage
Damage caused after installation by cuts, impacts, scratching, excessive heat, misuse, harsh chemicals, abrasive
cleaning, neglect or other accidental/customer damage is not covered by the workmanship warranty.
Where practical, I may be able to repair customer-damaged vinyl for an additional charge.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 19Reporting a Problem
If the customer notices lifting, bubbling, cracking or another concern with the vinyl, they should contact Revival Vinyl
Wraps as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers should avoid attempting their own repair before I have had a reasonable opportunity to assess the issue,
as unauthorised repairs or alterations may make it difficult to determine the original cause of the problem.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights.
Warranty & Guarantee
Revival Vinyl Wraps uses professional architectural vinyl products. The applicable warranty period can vary
depending on the vinyl manufacturer, product range, application and installation environment.
Vinyl Manufacturer's Warranty
Where applicable, the vinyl itself is covered by the relevant manufacturer's product warranty.
The length and terms of the manufacturer's warranty depend on the particular vinyl selected and may vary between
product ranges.
Manufacturer warranties may cover qualifying product defects such as premature cracking, fading, yellowing,
bubbling or delamination where these result from a defect in the vinyl itself.
Any manufacturer's warranty is subject to the manufacturer's own terms, conditions, exclusions and assessment
procedures.
A manufacturer's product warranty is separate from the Revival Vinyl Wraps workmanship warranty.
Revival Vinyl Wraps Workmanship Warranty
Revival Vinyl Wraps provides a 1-year workmanship warranty from the date the installation is completed.
This covers faults that are shown to have resulted from the original vinyl installation or workmanship carried out by
Revival Vinyl Wraps.
If a valid workmanship issue is identified, I will be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the affected area and,
where appropriate, repair or rectify the problem within a reasonable time.
What Is Not Covered
The workmanship warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from circumstances outside my
installation work, including:
• accidental damage, cuts, scratches or impacts;
• excessive heat or steam;
• standing water, leaks or moisture ingress;
• structural movement or failure of the underlying surface;
• pre-existing or concealed defects;
• swelling, deterioration or failure of the existing substrate;
• inappropriate or abrasive cleaning products;
• customer misuse or neglect;
• damage caused by another tradesperson;
• alterations, repairs or modifications carried out by someone other than Revival Vinyl Wraps; or
• normal wear and tear.
Any manufacturer's product warranty will remain subject to that manufacturer's own exclusions and conditions.
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 20Reporting a Warranty Concern
Any concern should be reported to Revival Vinyl Wraps as soon as reasonably possible after it becomes apparent.
Where possible, the customer should provide photographs and a description of the issue so that I can make an
initial assessment.
I must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the affected area before third-party repairs are arranged, except
where urgent action is reasonably necessary to prevent further damage or address a safety issue.
Assessment & Rectification
All warranty concerns will be assessed to establish the likely cause.
Where the issue is covered by my workmanship warranty, I will arrange an appropriate repair or other reasonable
remedy.
Where assessment indicates that the issue has resulted from customer damage, misuse, lack of maintenance, an
existing substrate problem or another cause outside the workmanship warranty, any repair I agree to undertake may
be chargeable.
Nothing in this warranty limits or replaces the customer's statutory rights.
Replacement & Custom-Made Kitchen Doors
Where agreed as part of the quotation, Revival Vinyl Wraps may supply new or replacement kitchen doors, drawer
fronts, panels or other made-to-measure components.
Measurements
Where I have personally surveyed and measured the customer's existing kitchen for replacement doors or panels, I
will use reasonable care and skill when taking measurements and specifying the required sizes.
Where measurements are supplied by the customer without an on-site survey by Revival Vinyl Wraps, the customer
is responsible for ensuring that those measurements are complete and accurate.
If an item manufactured from customer-supplied measurements does not fit because those measurements were
incorrect, the cost of producing a replacement item may be chargeable.
Made-to-Measure Items
Replacement doors, drawer fronts and panels may be cut or manufactured specifically for an individual customer's
kitchen.
Minor manufacturing and cutting tolerances may occur. These do not constitute a defect where they are within
reasonable industry tolerances and do not materially affect the appearance, fit or normal operation of the finished
installation.
Existing Cabinets & Kitchen Structure
New doors and drawer fronts are fitted to the customer's existing kitchen cabinets unless replacement cabinets have
specifically been included within the quotation.
The performance and alignment of replacement doors can therefore be affected by the condition, level and
alignment of the existing cabinets, hinges, drawer mechanisms and surrounding structure.
I will use reasonable care when fitting and adjusting replacement doors.
Revival Vinyl Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing structural defects, movement, damaged cabinets,
out-of-square units, defective hinges or worn drawer mechanisms that were not caused by my work.
Where an existing issue prevents a replacement door or panel from being correctly fitted, I will discuss the available
options with the customer.
Vinyl-Wrapped Replacement Doors
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 21Where replacement doors or panels are supplied as part of a vinyl wrapping project, the selected architectural vinyl
will be applied to the agreed faces and edges.
The quotation will specify what is included within the finished product.
Changes After Production Has Started
Once replacement doors, drawer fronts or panels have been cut, manufactured or prepared specifically for the
customer's project, changes to sizes, quantities, design or specification may result in additional costs.
If the customer requests a change after production has begun, I will explain any additional cost before producing
replacement or altered items.
Inspection & Installation
Replacement doors and panels will be inspected as part of the installation process.
If a component supplied by Revival Vinyl Wraps is incorrectly manufactured or does not fit because of an error for
which I am responsible, I will arrange an appropriate replacement or correction without additional charge to the
customer.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights.
Completion & Customer Sign-Off
On completion of the installation, the customer will be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the completed work.
Where the customer identifies a concern during this inspection, they should bring it to my attention so that it can be
discussed and, where appropriate, rectified.
Where the customer is not present at completion, they should inspect the work as soon as reasonably possible and
contact me promptly if they identify any concerns.
Completion or sign-off does not remove the customer's statutory rights or prevent a customer from subsequently
reporting a genuine issue that was not reasonably apparent at the time of inspection.
Aftercare and maintenance guidance will be provided or made available to the customer. The customer is
responsible for following the appropriate care instructions to help protect the vinyl and maintain the finished
installation.
Damage caused after completion through misuse, accidental damage, inappropriate cleaning, excessive heat,
moisture, third-party work or failure to follow reasonable aftercare instructions is not covered by the workmanship
warranty.
Where a concern is reported, Revival Vinyl Wraps must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the affected
area and, where appropriate, rectify any issue for which I am responsible.
Abusive Behaviour & Safe Working Conditions
Revival Vinyl Wraps operates a zero-tolerance policy towards threatening, abusive, intimidating, discriminatory or
violent behaviour.
I have the right to work in a safe environment and will not be expected to remain at a property where I reasonably
believe my personal safety is at risk.
This includes threatening or aggressive behaviour from the customer, other occupants, visitors or any other person
present at the property.
Unsafe Working Conditions
I also reserve the right to stop or suspend work where conditions at the property present a genuine health or safety
risk.
This may include unsafe electrical conditions, dangerous structures or surfaces, uncontrolled animals, hazardous
substances, seriously obstructed working areas or other conditions that make it unreasonable or unsafe for me to
Revival Vinyl Wraps - Terms & Conditions Page 22continue working.
Where reasonably possible, I will explain the concern to the customer and allow an opportunity for the issue to be
resolved.
If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved, I may leave the property and suspend the installation until safe working
conditions can be provided.
Serious or Threatening Behaviour
Where behaviour is seriously abusive, threatening or violent, I may leave the property immediately without being
required to first give the customer an opportunity to remedy the situation.
Where appropriate, threatening, violent or unlawful behaviour may be reported to the police or other relevant
authorities.
Costs Following Suspension or Cancellation
Where work has to be suspended or cancelled because of the customer's serious breach of these requirements, the
customer will remain responsible for payment for work properly completed, materials reasonably supplied or
specifically ordered, and any other reasonable losses or costs arising from the breach, where permitted by law.
Any amount charged will reflect the work performed and reasonable losses actually incurred and will not be imposed
as a penalty.
Nothing in this section affects either party's statutory rights.
